The Feast of the Presentation of the Lord at the Phanar

On Sunday, 2 February 2025, His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew officiated during the Divine Liturgy which took place at venerable Patriarchal Church of Saint George the Great-Martyr, at the Phanar, on the occasion of the feast day of the Presentation of the Lord in the Temple.

Also present for the Divine Liturgy where Their Eminences, Metropolitan Chrysostomos of Myra and Metropolitan Theodoros of Seleucia, Archons of the Great Church of Christ, Mr. Alkiviadis Stefanis, Civil Administrator of Mount Athos, along with his family, faithful from Constantinople and pilgrims from overseas.

It is noted that His All-Holiness received Mr. Stefanis in a private audience last Friday, while the Civil Administrator also collaborated with the Synodal Committee of Mount Athos.
