The Feast of Pentecost at the Ecumenical Patriarchate

On the Sunday of Pentecost, 8 June 2025, His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew presided over the Divine Liturgy which took place at the Patriarchal Church of Saint George, and was joined in concelebration by Their Eminences, Metropolitan Meliton of Philadelphia, Metropolitan Irinaios of Myriophytos and Peristasis, Metropolitan Chrysostomos of Myra, Metropolitan Nicholas of Philippoupolis, Hierarch of the Church of Bulgaria, Archbishop Nektarios of Anthidon, Commissioner of the Holy Sepulchre in Constantinople, Metropolitan Ioakeim of Bursa and Metropolitan Theodoros of Seleucia.
After the Divine Liturgy, His All-Holiness presided over the Vespers of the Holy Spirit, during which the Their Eminences, Metropolitans of Philadelphia, Philippoupolis and Archbishop of Anthidon read the Kneeling prayers.
Also present in prayer were His Grace Bishop Evmenios of Lefki, Consul Mr. Theophilos Georgakis, on behalf of the Consul General of Greece in Constantinople, Consul Mr. Andrij Boiko, on behalf of the Consul General of Ukraine in Constantinople, Mr. Dimitrios Kouvelas, member of the Greek Parliament, Messrs. Ivan Petleshkov and Radomir Cholakov, from Bulgaria, and the Archon of the Great Church of Christ Mr. Dimitrios Yotef, President of the Bulgarian-Speaking Community of Constantinople, Archons of the Great Church of Christ , and a multitude of believers from Constantinople and abroad.
