The Feast of All Saints at the Patriarchate of Jerusalem

According to the movable cycle of the Pentecostarion feasts, the Sunday following Pentecost, 2nd/15th June 2025, is the Sunday of All Saints. On this day, our Church honours all the Saints as the fruits of the descent and inspiration of the Holy Comforter (Holy Spirit).
The Patriarchate maintains a chapel dedicated to them within the holy church of the Sacred Monastery of Panagia Sayda Naya, located to the east of the Central Monastery.
There, a Divine Liturgy was celebrated, presided over by the Very Reverend Archimandrite Christodoulos, concelebrated with the Reverend Hieromonk Simeon, the Arabic-speaking Fr. George, the Russian-speaking Fr. Nikolaos, Hierodeacon Eulogios, and others. A small group of pilgrims from Greece also participated with reverence and attentiveness, observing the safety restrictions due to the ongoing bombings in the area. During the service, prayers were offered for our suffering and trapped brethren, and for a ceasefire.
Other Holy Sepulchre Fathers also visited the Holy Chapel for veneration during the Divine Liturgy.
The Reverend Abbess Seraphima graciously welcomed them at the abbess’s quarters, along with those who blessed and sanctified us, the celebrants and the congregation composed of monks and faithful from Jerusalem.
