The Feast Day of the Church of the Holy Trinity in Stavrodromi, Constantinople

The renowned Community of Stavrodromi, in Constantinople, celebrated the feast day of the Holy Spirit with splendour in the Church of the Holy Trinity. The Divine Liturgy was celebrated by the Hierarchical Head of the Community, His Eminence Metropolitan Andreas of Forty Churches, while Archimandrite Father Samuel Efes, Archimandrite Father Gideon Varytimos, Father Dimitrios Magioglou and Father Nikodimos Saidam concelebrated.

Also present and joined in prayer were His Grace Bishop Evmenios of Lefki, from the Metropolis of Germany, His Grace Bishop Adrianos of Halicarnassus, and His Grace Bishop Benjamin of Trallee.

The congregation was joined by Greeks and pilgrims from abroad, who came with reverence to celebrate this great feast day of Orthodoxy.

Students from the Zografeio Lyceum and Zappeio School were also present, accompanied by their teachers.

After the Divine Liturgy, a reception followed in the courtyard of the Holy Trinity Church, where those present had the opportunity to exchange greetings and enjoy the warm hospitality of the Community.

Also present for the reception were the Grand Protosyncellus Father Gregorios and the Consul-General of Greece in Constantinople, Ambassador Konstantinos Koutras, honouring the Community and the celebration with their presence.
