The Feast Day of the Cathedral Church of Panagia Eleousa, Prinkipos
With the prayerful participation of many believers, the great feast of the Dormition and the Translation of the Most Holy Theotokos was celebrated at the Cathedral of Panagia Eleousa in Prinkipos, and was presided over by His Eminence Elder Metropolitan Dimitrios of Princes’ Islands, both during the Great Vespers and during the Divine Liturgy of the main day of the feast.
Following the invitation of His Eminence Elder Metropolitan Dimitrios, the newly appointed members of the Ecclesiastical Committees of the Communities of the Metropolis of the Princes’ Islands were present all together in prayer, who participated in the reception after the Divine Liturgy, as well as in the celebratory meal offered by the Board of Trustees.
