The Feast Day of Pentecost at the Ecumenical Patriarchate

On Sunday 23 June 2024, the Great Feast Day of Pentecost, His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew presided over the Feast Day Divine Liturgy which took place at the Patriarchal Church of Saint George, and was joined in con-celebration by Their Eminences, Elder Metropolitan Apostolos of Derkoi, Metropolitan Irinaios of Myriophytos and Peristasis, Metropolitan Theoliptos of Iconium and Metropolitan Theodoros of Seleucia.

After the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy, His All-Holiness presided over the Vespers Service of the Holy Spirit, during which he also read the prayers of kneeling.

Many faithful believers from the city of Constantinople and abroad attended the feast day services.
