The Feast Day of Church of the Transfiguration of Our Lord at the Şişli Cemetery in Constantinople

With due ecclesiastical splendour, on Tuesday, 6 August 2024, the Feast Day of the Church of the Transfiguration of Our Lord took place at the Şişli Cemetery of the renowned Stavrodromi Community in Constantinople.

The Divine Liturgy was presided over by His Grace Bishop Benjamin of Tralee. Also present for the Divine Liturgy was the president of the renowned Stavrodromi Community, Mr. Georgios Papaliaris, along with members of the community council, as well as many faithful believers from Constantinople.

After the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy, the traditional grapes were blessed and distributed to the faithful by the hand of His Grace Bishop Benjamin.
