The Ecumenical Patriarch will travel to Cyprus for the funeral service of Archbishop Chrysostomos II of blessed memory


His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, deeply moved with emotion by the repose of the late Archbishop Chrysostom II of Nea Justiniana and all Cyprus, performed at the Venerable Patriarchal Church of Saint George, on Monday, November 7, a Trisagion for the repose of his soul, surrounded by Hierarchs of the Ecumenical Throne, clerics of the Patriarchal Court, Holy Fathers of Mt Athos who were present also, and all the workers at the Patriarchate.
Then welcoming a group of pilgrims from the island of Tinos, His All-Holiness referred to the brave battle fought with cancer by the blessed Archbishop Chrysostomos, and made known his personal intention to go to Cyprus for his funeral service.
