The Divine Litugy was celebrated at a new parish in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo

A new parish has been established in the Mbuti district of Kinshasa. The priest who established this parish is Fr. Photios who nowadays serves in the parish of Saint John Chrysostom in Kasangulu.

The Metropolitan recently sent a permanent priest, Fr. Chrysostomos Kamesa, who celebrates every Sunday in the courtyard of the house of a believer of the Orthodox Church. Protosyncellus Archimandrite Gerasimos Belesi presided over the Divine Liturgy in that parish on Sunday.

The faithful were pleased that the Metropolitan sent the Protosyncellus over to supervise the parish. The Protosyncellus spoke about the Gospel passage for that day and conveyed the wishes and blessings of His Eminence Metropolitan Theodosios of Kinshasa.
