The Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine visits the Phanar

On Tuesday, 20 May 2025, His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew received the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Unity of Ukraine, Mr. Oleksiy Chernyshov, with his entourage.

During their meeting, His All-Holiness reiterated the support of the Mother Church to the Ukrainian people, who are being harshly tested by the war, expressing his warm paternal blessings and prayers for the speedy restoration of peace and justice, and invoking the Lord’s blessing upon the leadership and people of Ukraine.
