The 5th Sunday of Matthew at the Theological School of Halki

On 9 July 2023, in the Chapel of the Theological School of Halki, on the 5th Sunday of Matthew the Resurrection Matins and Divine Liturgy took place, which were presided over from the throne by the Abbot of the Holy Monastery of the Holy Trinity, His Grace Bishop Kassianos of Arabissos.

The Divine Liturgy was celebrated by Archimandrite Konstantinos Delichristos, from the Holy Metropolis of Larissa and Tyrnavos, who was the head of a group of pilgrims from that region. Many groups of pilgrims from various regions of Greece, as well as believers from the Princes’ Islands, were also present for the Divine Liturgy.

After the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy, the Abbot of the Holy Monastery, His Grace Bishop Kassianos briefly addressed Father Konstantinos, referring to their personal acquaintance, but also to his devotion to the Mother Church and the Theological School of Halki.
