The 40-day Memorial Service for the Late Holy Sepulchre Brotherhood Archimandrite Ierotheos – Abbot of the Holy Monastery of Abbas Theodosios the Coenobiarch

On Saturday, 16th February / 1st March 2025, the Divine Liturgy was celebrated at the Horrendous Golgotha, presided over by His Eminence Archbishop Dimitrios of Lyda, with the participation of Archimandrites Klaudios, Dionysios, Philoumenos, Amphilochios, Thaddaeus, and Archdeacon Markos, with the chanting of Hierodeacon Dositheos and the prayers of monks, nuns, and members of the Church of Jerusalem.

After the Divine Liturgy, the fortieth-day memorial service for the repose of the soul of the late Holy Sepulchre Brotherhood Archimandrite Ierotheos, Hegumen and renovator of the Holy Monastery of Abbas Theodosios the Coenobiarch, was conducted, presided over by His Beatitude Patriarch Theophilos of Jerusalem, with the concelebration of Their Eminences Archbishops Dimitrios of Lyda and Isidoros of Hierapolis, the Elder Kamarasis Archimandrite Nektarios, the Elder Dragoman Archimandrite Matthaios, Archimandrite Christodoulos, and the aforementioned Hieromonks, who prayed for the repose of his soul in the land of the living, among the holy and righteous. May his memory be eternal!
