Patriarchal ‘Horostasia’ in Saint Marina Schinoudi of Imvros

The Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew officiated on Monday evening, January 31, 2022, at the Vespers, at the Holy Church of Saint Marina in Schinoudi of Imvros, in memory of the Holy Martyr Tryphon.

Praying together was his Eminence Metropolitan Kyrillos of Imvros and Tenedos.

Greek Deputy Foreign Minister Andreas Katsaniotis, who is visiting Imvros and Tenedos, also attended the Vespers.

Also present were the Consul General of Greece in Istanbul Georgia Sultanopoulou, officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, members of the Board of the Imbrian Union, Mr. Paris Asanakis, Legal Adviser of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, the President of the Educational and Educational Association of Imbros Stelios Berberis and many Imbrians from abroad.

Tomorrow the Patriarch will consecrate the newly renovated Church of Saint Tryfon in Schinoudi.
