Patriarchal and Synodical Divine Liturgy at Panagia of Pera for the feast day of the Entrance of the Theotokos into the Temple.

On Monday, 21 November 2022, the Feast Day of the Entrance of the Theotokos into the Temple, at the celebrating Holy Cathedral of Panagia of Pera, a Patriarchal and Synodical Divine Liturgy will take place, officiated by His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew.

The Ecumenical Patriarch will conduct the ordination to the deaconate of Mr. Konstantinos Mavrommatis, from Thessaloniki, who will serve the Greek Orthodox Community of Stavrodromi.

His Eminence Metropolitan Bartholomew of Polyani and Kilkis will preach the Festive Divine Word for the day.

After the dismissal of the Divine Liturgy, His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew will will lay the foundation stone of the cells that were burnt decades ago next to the Church, which will be renovated at the expense of a pious donor.

A reception will follow in the Community Hall.

On the eve of the Feast Day, Sunday, November 20, 2022 at 5:00 p.m., the Festive Vespers with Artoklasia will be held, presided over by His Eminence Metropolitan Andreas of Forty Churches, Supervisor of the Region of Stavrodromi.
