His Eminence Metropolitan Panteleimon of Maroneia and Komotini recently reached out by phone to His Beatitude Patriarch Theophilos III of Jerusalem concerning the recent tragic events unfolding in the Middle East, particularly in Jerusalem.
During the conversation, the Metropolitan conveyed the deep concern and solidarity of both himself and the entire clergy and faithful of the Holy Metropolis regarding the alarming situation in the Holy City and the wider jurisdiction of the Jerusalem Patriarchate.
He expressed unwavering support for all those serving in the ancient Patriarchate of Jerusalem and assured Patriarch Theophilos III that the clergy and people of the Metropolis are fervently offering prayers to the Prince of Peace, our Lord Jesus Christ, beseeching Him to end hostilities and swiftly restore peace to the region.
