Metropolitan Job of Pisidia participated in International Theological Symposium in Romania

From 14 to 16 May 2025, His Eminence Metropolitan Job of Pisidia visited Romania at the invitation of His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel of Romania to participate in the international theological symposium titled: “The First Ecumenical Council of Nicaea (325): The Orthodox Faith, the Foundation of Church Unity.”

The event was jointly organised by the Patriarchate of Romania and the Patriarch Justinian Faculty of Orthodox Theology at the University of Bucharest.

Metropolitan Job delivered a lecture on the topic: “The Council of Nicaea and the Common Celebration of Pascha.”

The symposium brought together Orthodox and Roman Catholic theologians from various universities in Romania, France, Germany, Greece, and Italy.

Organised on the occasion of the 1700th anniversary of the First Ecumenical Council in Nicaea (325), this symposium formed part of the events marking the centenary of the Patriarchate of Romania (1925–2025).
