Metropolitan Epifaniy of Kyiv visits the Ecumenical Patriarchate

On Tuesday, 13 August 2024, His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew warmly welcomed with brotherly love, His Beatitude Metropolitan Epifaniy of Kyiv and All Ukraine at the Phanar, who was accompanied by His Eminence Metropolitan Yevstratiy of Bila Tserkva and other associates.

The Ecumenical Patriarch also cordially received an official delegation from the State of Ukraine, led by Ms. Olena Kovalska, Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, along with Mr. Viktor Yelensky, Head of the State Service for Ethnic Affairs and Freedom of Conscience, His Excellency Mr. Vasyl Bodnar, Ukrainian Ambassador in Ankara, and Mr. Roman Nedilskyi, Consul General of Ukraine in Constantinople, accompanied by his deputy, Mr. Andriy Boyko.

During the private meetings, His Eminence Elder Metropolitan Emmanuel of Chalcedon, Grand Ecclesiarch Archimandrite Aetios, Director of the Private Patriarchal Office, and Patriarchal Deacon Epifaniy Kamyanovich, who served as translator, were also present.

At noon, the Ecumenical Patriarch hosted a luncheon in honour of the distinguished guests of the Mother Church at the Patriarchal Municipal School of Marasli.
