Memorial Service for the Late Metropolitan Sotirios Trambas at the Metropolis of Pisidia

On the day of Pentecost, memorial services were held at the Holy Metropolis of Pisidia for the repose of the soul of the late Metropolitan Sotirios Trampas (1929-2022), on the occasion of the third anniversary of his falling asleep in the Lord.

The late Metropolitan Sotirios restored the church life of the Metropolis of Pisidia more than fifteen years ago, when he was appointed its head, in 2008, when he retired from the Holy Metropolis of Korea. Thanks to his missionary zeal and pastoral efforts, the church of Panagia Pisidiotissa in Mahmutlar-Alanya was built ten years ago, and later, three years ago, the church of Apostle Paul in Side-Manavgat. May he rest among the saints and may his memory be eternal!
