Meetings of Elder Metropolitan of Chalcedon in Kyiv

His Eminence Elder Metropolitan Emmanuel of Chalcedon, who represented His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew during the ecclesiastical and national celebrations held in Kyiv for the anniversary of the baptism of the people of Kyiv in 988, was received by His Beatitude Metropolitan Epifaniy of Kyiv and All Ukraine, to whom he had the opportunity to once again convey the congratulations of the Ecumenical Patriarch and the Mother Church for this significant anniversary.

The Metropolitan of Chalcedon also had a meeting with the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal, during which he reiterated the unwavering support of the Ecumenical Throne for the Ukrainian people who are severely tested by the war.
