Meeting of the clergy of the Archdiocesan District of Brisbane

On Wednesday, 10th November, a zoom meeting was held for priests of the Archdiocesan District of Brisbane by His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia with the participation of the new Archdiocesan Vicar for the District of Brisbane, His Grace Bishop Emilianos of Meloa and the holy clergy of the Greek Orthodox Church in the state of Queensland.

The clergy had the opportunity of talking with the new Archdiocesan Vicar, His Grace Bishop Emilianos, while noting the pleasing ministry of his predecessor, His Grace Bishop Iakovos of Miletoupolis.

Practical matters relating to the operation of churches in light of the circumstances arising from the pandemic were the main topic for discussion.

Finally, the discussion focused on the forthcoming pastoral visit of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios to Brisbane.
