Holy Week Services to take place on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland

With the blessing of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia and the guidance of His Grace Bishop Bartholomew of Brisbane, Holy Week services will be conducted on the Sunshine Coast of Queensland.

Palm Sunday has already been celebrated and the Service of the Holy Passion of Christ, while the program also includes:

• The Vespers of the Taking Down of Christ from the Cross (Apokathilosis) and the Service of the Epitaphios (Lamentations), on Good Friday, and

• The Vespers and Divine Liturgy of St. Basil the Great, on the morning of Holy Saturday, and the Service of the Resurrection and Divine Liturgy on the evening of the same day.

The services will take place at the Anglican Church of St Mark’s, 7 Main St Buderim, Queensland.
