Holy Diocese of Brisbane: Seminar on Self-Care in Cairns

With the blessing of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia, a seminar took place at the Parish of St John the Baptist in Cairns, in the Holy Diocese of Brisbane, under the guidance of His Grace Bishop Bartholomew of Brisbane and Father George Liangas, the National Coordinator of the Pastoral Health Care Network Australia.
Following prayer, His Grace Bishop Bartholomew of Brisbane conveyed the love and blessings of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia and thanked, on behalf of His Eminence, Father George Liangas for his contribution and service in coordinating the pastoral health care network, an initiative of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Australia.
Moreover Bishop Bartholomew thanked the Fathers of the Parish of St John’s Cairns, Mr Theodore Bacalakis, Archon of our Ecumenical Patriarchate and Presbytera Fotini Aspiotis for organising a successful seminar.

Moreover, His Grace welcomed Father John Kapetas who is visiting Cairns from Sydney.
Speakers at the seminar were His Grace Bishop Bartholomew of Brisbane, Dr Dragana Urosevic and Mrs Patrice Honnef.
Light refreshments were served afterwards.
