Greek PM Mitsotakis and The Ministry of Foreign Affairs express shock, condolences over school attack in Sweden


Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis expressed his shock over the attack at an adult education school in Örebro, Sweden on Tuesday.
In a post in English, Mitsotakis said, “Shocked by the tragedy in Örebro. Schools should be places of learning and safety, never violence. Greece stands in solidarity with Sweden in this painful moment. Our thoughts are with the victims, their families, and the community affected by this heinous act.”
The attack left 10 dead, one of whom the police believe may possibly be the perpetrator.
MFA expresses condolences for school attack in Örebro
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed condolences over an attack at a school in Örebro, Sweden. In a post on X, the ministry stated: “Shocked and appalled by today’s attack at a school in Örebro. Our thoughts go out to the victims and their families. We stand with the people of Sweden during this difficult time.”
