Greece’s parliament receives false bomb threat call

The anonymous bomb threat made to Parliament on Tuesday via the 112 emergency number has been resolved. No explosives were found. The caller had warned of a bomb but did not specify a detonation time.
In response, bomb squads, police, firefighters, and a specialized team from the Criminal Investigation Department rushed to the scene. Authorities also closed Vassilis Sofias Avenue near Parliament as a precaution.
After thorough checks, the area was cleared, the alarm lifted and normal operations resumed. Investigations into the threat are ongoing.
