Grand Concelebration by Ecumenical Patriarch and Archbishop of Albania at the Phanar

On Sunday, 15 June 2025, a magnificent concelebration was held at the Phanar under the leadership of Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew. The liturgy included the concelebration of His Beatitude Archbishop Ioannis of Albania and numerous hierarchs from their respective Churches, honouring the feast of the Sunday of All Saints.
It is noted that Archbishop Ioannis of Albania has been in Constantinople since Friday, 13 June 2025. On Saturday, 14 June, the Archbishop was officially welcomed in a formal ceremony presided over by the Ecumenical Patriarch.
Also taking part in the Divine Liturgy were, Their Eminences, Elder Metropolitan Emmanuel of Chalcedon, Metropolitan Nicholas of Apollonia and Fieri, Metropolitan Chrysostomos of Myra, Metropolitan Astios of Berat, Vlora and Kanina, Metropolitan Maximos of Selyvria, and His Grace Bishop Anastasios of Kruja.

Also present for the Divine Liturgy were Their Eminences, Archbishop Nektarios of Anthidon, Commissioner of the Holy Sepulchre in Constantinople, Metropolitan Theoliptos of Iconium, Metropolitan Andreas of Forty Churches, Metropolitan Theodors of Seleucia, Their Graces, Bishop Adrianos of Halicarnassus, Bishop Kassianos of Aravissos and Bishop Paisios of Xanthoupolis, Archons of the Great Church of Christ, the Consul-General of Greece and Consul of Albania in Constantinople, Ambassador Konstantinos Koutras and Mr. Armand Shandro, respectively, faithful from the city of Constantinople and pilgrims from abroad.
After the speeches, the two Primates exchanged commemorative gifts, followed by a reception at the Patriarchal residence.
