Flight with 150 passengers makes emergency landing in Athens

A passenger flight from Athens to Riga had to make an emergency landing soon after takeoff in the Greek capital on Thursday morning.

According to preliminary reports, the Airbus’ captain turned the flight back after smoke appeared in the aircraft’s cockpit.

No one was injured in the incident. 

The airplane was said to be carrying 150 passengers to the Latvian capital.
