Ecumenical Patriarchate: The resignation of Metropolitan of Ganos and Bishop of Skopelos is accepted by the Holy Synod
The Holy Synod of the Ecumenical Patriarchate accepted the resignation of Metropolitan Amphilochios of Ganos and Chora from his province, as well as of Bishop Pangratios of Skopelos from his duties in the Metropolis of Mexico.
Metropolitan Emmanuel of Chalcedon, Archbishop Nikitas of Thyateira, Ecclesiarch Aetios and Constantine Delikonstantis, Director of the Patriarchal Office and Professor Emeritus of the University of Athens, were also appointed as members of the Joint Committee on the Constitution of the Holy Archdiocese of America.
The Holy Synod of the Ecumenical Patriarchate met on Monday, in its new composition for the semester 01.09.2022 – 28.02.2023, with the following Hierarchs:

- Metropolitan Bartholomew of Smyrna
- Metropolitan Kirill of Ierapitni and Sitia
- Metropolitan Vissarion of Spain and Portugal
- Metropolitan Andrew of Saranta Ekklisies
- Metropolitan Ioakeim of Bursa
