Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew to preside over the Divine Liturgy on the Sunday of the Myrrh-bearing Women

On the Sunday of the Myrrh-bearing Women, 4 May 2025, His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew will preside over the festive Divine Liturgy at the Patriarchal Church of Saint George, concelebrating with the resident Hierarchs of the Mother Church.

The announcement of the Ecumenical Patriarchate is as follows:

It is announced that on the Sunday of the Myrrh-bearing Women, 4 May, His All-Holiness the Patriarch will preside at the Patriarchal Church over the festive Divine Liturgy, concelebrating with the resident Hierarchs of the Mother Church.

His Eminence Metropolitan Apostolos of Miletus will deliver the sermon.

At the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy, our Patriarch will bestow the office of Grand Syncellus of the Holy Great Church of Christ upon the Reverend Hieromonk Ieronymos Sotirelis.
