Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew to preside over First Stanza of the Salutations to the Theotokos

On Friday, 7 March 2025, at 4:30 p.m., His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew will preside over the First Stanza of the Salutations to the Most Holy Theotokos at the Patriarchal Church of Saint George, Phanar.

During the service, Archimandrite Kaisarios Chronis, Archivist of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, will deliver the sermon.

The Service of the Salutations is one of the most cherished liturgical traditions of the Orthodox Church, honouring the Theotokos and offering the faithful spiritual preparation as they enter and continue through the period of Holy and Great Lent.
