Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew met with Estonian Minister of Interior Affairs

His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew met the Estonian Minister of Interior Affairs, Lauri Läänemets, at the Ministry of the Interior in the historical centre of Tallinn, on Wednesday, 13 September 2023.

The minister warmly welcomed the Ecumenical Patriarch to whom he bestowed a golden badge of honour, whilst the Deputy Minister of the Interior, Raivo Küüt, read out loud the relevant honorary decision.

The Ecumenical Patriarch was accompanied by Metropolitan Stephanos of Tallinn and all Estonia as well as Metropolitans Athenagoras of Kydonia, Vissarion of Spain and Portugal, and Gregorios of Peristeri.
