Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Greek Diaspora visits the Ecumenical Patriarchate
On Thursday, 31 August 2023, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Greek Diaspora Mr. Georgios Kotsiras met with His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew at the Phanar, and will be present, as a representative of the Greek Government, at today’s Indiction celebration.
During their meeting, which was attended by the Consul General of Greece in Constantinople, Ms. Georgia Soultanopoulou, as well as the Ambassadors Mr. Christodoulos Margaritis and Dimitrios Yioldasis, from the Diplomatic Office of the Deputy Minister, His All-Holiness congratulated Mr. Kotsiras for taking on the new multi-responsible duties entrusted to him by Greek Prime Minister Mr. Kyriakos Mitsotakis and thanked him for the undiminished interest of the Greek State in the Ecumenical Patriarchate and the Community of Constantinople.
