Dendias convenes emergency meeting on Israel – Iran conflict and missile defense

Greek Defence Minister Nikos Dendias convened an emergency meeting of the Council of Chiefs of General Staff (SAGE) to address the country’s air defence in light of recent developments in the Israel – Iran conflict.

According to reports, the council is evaluating the evolving situation in the Middle East and working on a defense plan to strengthen Greece’s anti-ballistic capabilities.

Public broadcaster ERT reported that the meeting focused on reviewing air defence measures, as the country remains on high alert due to the crisis in the Middle East.
