Clean Monday at the Phanar

On the morning of Clean Monday, 3 March 2025, His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew was present joined in prayer at the Patriarchal Church of Saint George, for the Lenten Matins, Hours and Vespers, while at midday, His All-Holiness received, according to tradition, the Hierarchs of the Throne in Constantinople, with whom he exchanged fraternal wishes for mutual forgiveness, on the occasion of the entry into Holy and Great Lent.

Later on, in the venerable Patriarchal Church, the Service of the Great Compline of Clean Monday took place.
