Chios: Hierarchical Divine Liturgy at the Leprosarium where Saint Nikephoros the Leper lived

At the Church of Saint Lazarus of the Leprosarium of Chios, where Saint Nikephoros the Leper from the village of Sirikari, Chania, lived, was hospitalised and tonsured a monk, a Hierarchical Divine Liturgy was celebrated, presided over by His Eminence Metropolitan Amphilochios of Kissamos and Selino, and concelebrated by the local Shepherd, His Eminence Metropolitan Markos of Chios, Psara and Oinousses.

Metropolitan Amphilochios of Kissamos visited all the areas of the complex, which will be maintained with the assistance of the North Aegean Region, venerated in the room of Saint Nikephoros and gave a holy sermon with spiritual emotion and reverence.

The numerous faithful believers had the opportunity to participate in the Eucharistic Synaxis which testifies that our Saints are alive among us.
