Celebrating the Transfiguration of the Lord in Milan

On the afternoon of 5 August, the Greek Orthodox Parish of Milan held a festive celebration for the Holy Vigil of the Great Feast of the Transfiguration of the Saviour. The Divine Liturgy was conducted with reverence and led by Archimandrite Fr. Ioannis Batsis.

In accordance with ecclesiastical tradition, Archimandrite Fr. Ioannis blessed the grapes and distributed them to the congregation at the end of the Divine Liturgy. Following the Liturgy, a delightful meal was served in the church courtyard, allowing the community to come together and celebrate this great feast day.
