Bishop Panaretos of Nieri presided over Divine Liturgy in Malounta

On Sunday, 14 July 2024, His Grace Bishop Panaretos of Nieri from the Patriarchate of Alexandria presided over the Divine Liturgy at the Church of Panagia Chrysopantanassa in Malounta, Cyprus. The Bishop was accompanied by Protopresbyter Father Marios Ioannidis.

During the service, Bishop Panaretos delivered the Holy Sermon, focusing on the God-bearing Fathers of the Fourth Ecumenical Council of Chalcedon and providing an insightful analysis of the day’s Gospel passage. He expressed his gratitude to Metropolitan Isaiah of Tamasos and Oreini for granting him permission and the blessing to lead the Eucharistic Synaxis in Malounta, Cyprus.

Additionally, the Bishop extended his heartfelt thanks to Father Marios Ioannidis for the invitation and the warm hospitality shown to him and the community during his visit.
