On Sunday, 8 December 2024, His Grace Bishop Evmenios of Chora visited the Chapel of Saint Nicholas in the regional city of Ballarat, Victoria, for the Divine Liturgy that is celebrated every year on the Sunday after the feast of Saint Nicholas.

Residents of the local area participated in the Divine Liturgy, to whom His Grace conveyed the wishes, blessing and paternal love of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia.

In his sermon, Bishop Evmenios analysed the day’s gospel passage, presenting the healing of the crippled woman, and encouraged the faithful to trust in the mercy of Christ and to experience the hope and renewal that faith offers.
