Bishop Bartholomew of Brisbane attended the Opening of the 58th State Parliament of Queensland

With the Blessing of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia, His Grace Bishop Bartholomew of Brisbane attended the Opening of the 58th State Parliament of Queensland.

Present at the ceremony was the Governor of Queensland, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM, the Anglican Archbishop of Brisbane Jeremy Greaves and the General Secretary of Queensland Churches Together Reverend David Baker.

His Grace had the opportunity to speak with the Governor of Queensland and conveyed to the Governor and her family the love and sincere respect of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia.
