WA Day Festival

The free WA Day Festival is back and it’s better than ever, with something for everyone to enjoy. The festivals exist to celebrate the beautiful State we live in over the WA Day long weekend.

Keep the kids entertained for hours with our family fun. There’s an inflatable playground for the kids, loads of amusement rides including a ferris wheel and tea cups, an arts & crafts village, cuddly animals at our petting zoo, gold panning with Perth Mint and the annual WA Day mascot race.

Foodies will be in absolute heaven with Perth’s biggest and best international food truck line-up representing the State’s melting pot of cultures. Eat Street will be serving up insta-worthy food from mouth-watering burgers, falafel and chips, to artisan chunky cookies, bao buns and fish tacos.

We have an immersive science zone from Scitech featuring robots, coding and hands-on activities, thrilling waterski displays on the Swan and Air Force flyovers.

You can also sit back and chill out with a local wine or beer while watching live music on our new Lotterywest Stage featuring acoustic sessions, Fringe acts and family entertainment.

Finish the fun by enjoying a spectacular fireworks display above our Swan River at 6pm on both nights.
